Mövenpick Holding is a Swiss group company headquartered in Switzerland and fully owned by AccorHotels since September 2018. General counsel Christian Müller is responsible for all legal and IP matters within the Mövenpick Group, including its wine and food business, and Marché International and FutureLog. With the help of one other team member, the primary responsibility of the team is for M&A transactions, licensing activities, company law, data protection, management of key partners, litigations and supervising the IP function. The most recent large scale project for the legal team is leading the sale of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts for the cash amount of CHF560m to Accor.
