About

Swiss multinational food and drink company Nestlé is the largest food company in the world according to revenues and has been since 2014. Forming an integral part of its growth over the years, the legal team is a large and dominant function of the organisation, with more than 400 personnel, making it one of the largest legal teams in the food and nutrition industry. The legal team is at the front of the agenda for Nestlé’s “Nutrition, Health and Wellness” programme, regularly engaging with external stakeholders to discuss related regulation, as well as forming and implementing the group advocacy committee in regards to these topics. It has been fundamental to impacting various societal health challenges that affect political and legislative regulatory challenges in the industry, going above and beyond their usual remit. The legal team is impassioned about helping young lawyers and are involved in a number of initiatives in this area, personally mentoring young lawyers within Nestlé and externally.
