Mr. Rose is Ashford’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, and he serves in the same roles for Ashford Hospitality Trust and Braemar Hotels & Resorts. 

Mr. Rose brings a broad range of legal experience and corporate governance expertise to Ashford. Prior to joining Ashford in 2021, he was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where he worked with public and private companies, as well as private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in connection with complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, private financings, recapitalisations, debt and equity security investments, and other general corporate matters. 

Mr. Rose holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Kansas and is admitted to practice law in the States of Texas and New York.
