About

Kevin Bryant is general counsel of Crow Holdings and is responsible for all legal matters and tax planning. He also is responsible for the structuring and formation of the Crow Holdings Capital (“CHC”) managed Funds. Kevin has been with Crow Holdings-affiliated entities since 1997.  He sits on the CHC’s Investment Committees, chairs the Due Diligence Committee and is on the Valuation and Allocation Committees. 

Kevin began his legal career at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, where he focused primarily on commercial real estate, corporate finance, and partnership law, and worked extensively with real estate and private equity funds. Prior to that, he was with Arthur Andersen & Company where he became a certified public accountant. Kevin received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University, where he graduated with honours. 

Kevin serves on the Boards of the Dallas Symphony Association, Uplift Education and the Dallas Breakfast Group, and is on the Board of Governors for Oklahoma State University Foundation.  He also serves on the Board of Armstrong Avenue Trust Company.  Kevin was recently reappointed to the Texas Judicial Council by Governor Greg Abbott, where he has served since 2019.  He is a member of the Real Estate Roundtable Tax Policy Committee, served on the Board of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and as Chair of the Public Policy Committee and the TREC PAC Boards.  Kevin has published various tax articles and co-authored several books, including the Partnership Tax Practice and Planning Guide, the Annual Tax Planning Guide for S Corporations, Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies, Matthew Bender’s Tax Return Manual, and The Depreciation Handbook, published by Matthew Bender.
