Siriporn Chaiyasuta is vice president, Asia Strategy for Chevron Eurasia Pacific based in Bangkok. Her work covers the upstream business of the company covering several countries with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. She is a lawyer by background and was general counsel for several regions. Before she moved back to Thailand in 2017, Siriporn was general counsel of Chevron Asia Pacific based in Singapore covering Australia, Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam During 2012-2016, Siriporn was general counsel of Chevron Europe, Eurasia & Middle East having the regional Headquarters based in London. Her work covers upstream business in 15 countries being UK, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Greenland, Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Bulgara, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt and Kurdistan Region of Iraq. During 2009-2012 Siriporn worked at Chevron Corporate Headquarters in California as advisor to the vice president and general counsel for upstream. Her responsibility covered the transactional lawyer team for business development around the world, the Supply Chain Legal Group, and Professional Development for global attorneys in Africa, Europe, Australia, Asia, Central Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

Prior to that, she was managing counsel for Chevron Asia South based in Bangkok. Siriporn has been with the company for over 32 years, having joined the company in 1991 when it was Unocal before merging into Chevron in 2005. On her civic work, Siriporn is the President of the Women Lawyers Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen. She is also the President of Chulalongkorn University Law Alumni Association. She is the Chairwoman of the Equality and Legal Committee at the National Women Council of Thailand. Serve on the Board of National Committee for Disable and Senior Persons. She engaged in professional and public services in the past. For example, she was Thailand Representative at ICC International Court of Arbitration for 3 terms during 2001-2010, National Public Information Board, Thailand Zoological Board and Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand. She also lectured at several universities local and abroad. Siriporn obtained her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas 1985, and a Master of Public Administration degree (M.P.A.) from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California in 1986. She has Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from Chulalongkorn University in 1984.

In terms of awards and recognition, Siriporn is named “Women of the Year 2022” from the National Women’s Council of Thailand and received the award from HRH Queen. She received Global Alumni Award, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas (2015), Distinguished Alumni Award, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand (2010), Distinguished Alumni Award, Rajini School, Thailand (2019), In-house Counsel of the Year Award for Thailand Asia Law Magazine for 2005. She also has also received the Royal Decoration of The Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant Knight Grand Cross (Benjamaporn Changpuerk).
