After the completion of restructuring SCBX in 2022, SCBX’s business trajectory is on track with its mission to become a regional tech company, focusing on banking services, consumer and digital financial services and platform, and digital assets.

Between 2022 and 2023 – ­apart from numerous business transfers, financing and fundraising rounds, joint venture investment, and cross-border M&A transactions – the SCBX legal team has worked closely with cross-functional teams to navigate through legal and regulatory challenges in an ongoing adoption of more advanced alternative data and AI technology to optimise data sharing across the group to improve customer experience and lower business costs.

As an in-house counsel, it is crucial for our legal team to combine deep legal knowledge and skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines to deliver practical integrated solution. Delivery of the role will also involve delivering professional excellence, agility, leadership as well as developing and managing relationship with regulators and external legal resources to ensure quality and timely output.
