What are the most significant cases or transactions that you have recently been involved in over the past year?   

The amalgamation between True Corporation PLC (True) and Total Access Communications (Dtac) which is the largest telecommunications company merger in Southeast Asia by combined enterprise value. 

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?  

True has innovated IT systems to reduce use of paper in the approval process, as well as reduce the time of management staff to be present in the workplace, since the systems allow users to review and approve anywhere, anytime.  

How do you see the general counsel role evolving in Thailand over the next five-ten years?  

The general counsel will not be just a gatekeeper or a problem solver, but we will also be part of the company’s strategic decision-making. Someone who can provide an advanced risk management context to strategic commercial moves.
