The Metro Cash & Carry Türkiye legal team is managed by Serçin Kireçtepe and includes senior attorneys Yeliz Oral and Özge Öncü, along with four lawyers and one paralegal. The major Turkish retailer is part of the German-founded Metro Group, one of the largest wholesale retailers in the world. The team has specific roles covering compliance, data privacy, projects and litigation and has recently made some changes to its structure. The team is known for its technical and commercially focused approach and, in the words of Kireçtepe, ‘we have been trained in six sigma, and applied that to our systems for supporting agile needs’.
