What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

As a legal team, we closely collaborate with the business to help the company achieve its strategic objectives while following laws and regulations. Recently, we have been involved in various significant transactions and projects, such as global product initiatives, important distribution channel agreements, and all aspects of M&A deals. 

One notable project was a successful M&A transaction involving the acquisition of a company in the life insurance sector. This acquisition was a major milestone for us in navigating complex regulatory environments and achieving seamless integration, impacting not only our team but also the insurance industry. 

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

Our strategic priorities for 2024 focus on digitalization and enhancing customer experience, aiming to incorporate innovation into all aspects of our work. We are working on integrating digital solutions like AI-driven tools into our legal processes to boost productivity, reduce response times, and enhance document management. This will help us better assess legal risks and provide strategic advice to the business. Strengthening customer experience is another key priority for us, requiring a solid legal framework. We are dedicated to developing clear and user-friendly legal documents and processes to improve understanding and build stronger relationships.

Additionally, we are committed to engaging in pro bono legal work this year in line with company policies. We believe in making a positive impact within the legal sector and supporting underserved individuals. 

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am personally passionate about sustainability and environmental stewardship, recognizing our increased responsibility in addressing environmental challenges. Beyond business goals, I believe in adopting sustainable practices to positively impact our community. Our legal team is enthusiastic about contributing to the company’s sustainability initiatives, as prioritizing sustainability not only benefits the company but also supports the well-being of our planet.
