What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024? 

Since the beginning of 2024, I have been appointed as the NALCA sub-cluster counsel in addition to my role as the general counsel of Citibank Türkiye. This year will be a transition period for me as well. Considering that each of the countries within the sub-cluster has different needs and priorities, my strategic priority will be to understand their dynamics, issues, and challenges, to support them, and to provide guidance on legal and organisational matters as a trusted advisor.

Our strategic priority as the Citi Türkiye Legal team, following the change in Citigroup’s management, has become to align with the new organisational goals and initiatives and to foster better engagement and connection with our regional and global partners.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about? 

With the addition of new members to my team, I aim to take my leadership to the next level by dedicating time to understand each new team member, what motivates them, and what inspires them. This approach will help create a positive work environment and inspire all employees to work towards a common goal.
