We take an active role in our company’s acquisitions, guiding the legal facets of negotiations to secure favourable outcomes. Our focus extends to managing legal risks associated with diversifying our product offerings and penetrating new markets – key objectives of our growth strategy. Moreover, we adeptly navigate litigation related to high-stakes intellectual property disputes, safeguarding our company’s vital assets.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

In 2024, our legal and compliance team’s roadmap is driven by the goal of reinforcing the company’s growth and long-term viability. Our approach is multifaceted. We provide comprehensive legal advice across departments, ensure business procedures adhere to legal standards, and meticulously handle contracts to reflect the company’s operational dynamics. By evaluating and mitigating legal risks, managing disputes, and overseeing litigation, we safeguard the company’s interests.

Our strategic agenda is anchored in three pillars: enhancing our Risk Management and Compliance to align with evolving legal requirements, supporting the Company’s Digital Transformation to navigate the legal intricacies of digitalisation, and fostering Employee Development to enhance the expertise within our legal department. Through targeted training and professional growth programs, we aim to equip our team with the knowledge to excel and drive efficiency in legal processes.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am deeply passionate about contributing to the progressive and innovative landscape of sports nutrition and food supplements, particularly within the e-commerce sphere. My enthusiasm is fuelled by our company’s growth-oriented ethos and the pioneering dynamism that defines our approach. The recent investment by Nestlé, propelling us into a subsidiary role, marks a thrilling chapter in our evolution into an internationally recognised entity. It is incredibly rewarding to be intimately involved in this transformative journey, shaping the company’s global partnership strategy.
