What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Our company provides investment, management, and consultancy services to our group companies operating in various fields such as automotive, biofuels, and insurance. Last year, we focused on joint ventures, investments, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, compliance projects, and commercial disputes.

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

Together with our legal team, we often ask ourselves the question, “How can we make our work more efficient?” and we take care to follow and utilise technological developments. It is not an innovation that I discovered on my own, but one of the innovations we made was our efforts to enhance our efficiency with functions such as automatic reminder systems by purchasing the pro version of the Todoist application. Thanks to this system, we can easily track our agenda and the tasks everyone is working on.

In addition, we had the opportunity to instantly track the cases and worklists of our consultant law firms by transferring them from Excel to the SharePoint system. These steps have helped us make our business more effective and efficient. These are only the first examples that come to mind.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

Among many important causes, global issues such as environmental protection, sustainable use of natural resources, and climate change stand out to me. I believe that protecting the quality of life of future generations as well as the overall health of the planet is the common responsibility for humanity. For this reason, I am happy to work for a company that has been resolutely continuing its investments in the field of renewable energy since its establishment, with a business model focused on respect for the environment and people and contributing to Türkiye’s transition to a low-carbon economy through its subsidiary companies.
