What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in? 

Various M&A projects such as acquisition of Coca-Cola Beverages Bangladesh, acquisition of stake at Anadolu Etap, acquisition of shares of subsidiaries in some countries, greenfield investment projects in various countries, renewal energy projects,  international and local financial transactions, conducting compliance works in different fields and some litigation matters are among the significant cases and transactions that my team has been involved in. 

Throughout your career, what principles or values have guided your approach to leadership and decision-making within the legal department, and how do you believe they have contributed to your success? 

Transparency, constant feed-back, accountability, teamwork, curiosity, having diverse opinions and backgrounds within the team and reflection them to the produced works, being open minded, willingness and readiness to be challenged, early detection of potential problems/disputes and resolve them as early as possible, understanding the business and being a strategic business partner within the organisation and finally operating as One Team not as individuals or function. Having the right mindset and attitude always contributes to the success of any in-house lawyer and function. My team has “One for All, All for One” motto in everything we do. 

As someone who has achieved remarkable success in the legal profession, what advice would you offer to aspiring general counsels or young legal professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact in their careers? 

Being curiosity and passionate of what you are doing, thinking beyond the box and current realities, being a team player rather than solo performance, strategic thinking, constantly learning from each other are the most important elements that can make significant impact on any career, I believe.
