What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

In 2023, we were involved in DHL Group’s acquisition of Turkish Parcel delivery provider MNG Cargo. The transaction was subject to merger control clearance by the Turkish Competition Authority as well as approval of the Turkish Information and Communications Technologies Authority.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

Our strategic priority in 2024 is to provide the best possible legal aid to our company, and to obtain the best outsource services from the best law firms in case it is needed. We believe that 2024 will be a productive year in terms of M&A, and Turkey will be open to new investments. We aim to provide fast and secure solutions in future transactions.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

Personally, I am passionately working on my Phd degree in Commercial Law. My legal expertise in company law supports my academic study. On the other hand, my academic work on joint stock companies enriches my point of view in my legal work. This makes me more and more passionate about conducting professional legal work and academic work simultaneously.
