What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Our legal team has been involved in several significant transactions, including the completion of a €790m syndicated loan with a two-year maturity, facilitated by Türkiye Wealth Fund in March 2023; facilitation of a $100m Murabaha financing agreement with Sharjah Islamic Bank in March 2024, marking TWF’s first international Islamic finance transaction; and the successful completion of a Eurobond issuance in February 2024, with record-breaking demand exceeding $7bn and an oversubscription rate of over 14 times, demonstrating investor confidence in Türkiye’s economy and economic policies.

In 2024, our legal team is guided by several strategic priorities aimed at driving organisational growth and ensuring legal compliance. Strengthening corporate governance, managing regulatory relations, and fostering a culture of legal excellence are also integral to our strategic agenda for 2024.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I am deeply passionate about advancing causes related to education and mentorship. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in mentoring students and young professionals. I believe in the transformative power of education and strive to empower future generations through mentorship and educational initiatives.
