Meral Öncü has practiced law as an in-house lawyer for 18 years and gained her Bachelor’s (Hons) degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Law with a full scholarship. She also has a Masters degree in Economics Law from Galatasaray University.

Meral joined the law department at Yıldız Holding in 2006. She has held various positions at different levels, while following up and coordinating thousands of cases and was appointed legal director in 2014. Most recently, she serves as the director responsible for the legal affairs of Yıldız Holding and its subsidiary companies. In addition to litigation, enforcement and day-to-day legal support for the companies, Meral focuses on preventive legal counselling.
