Focus on: My career

As the bank’s legal department, we have devoted all our efforts from the very beginning to fully and duly support its operations and establishment without any default or delay. Once you decide to establish a company, especially a bank, which is subject to one of the most-regulated sectors in Turkey, there are many legal and regulatory issues to consider. Working with many regulatory bodies, including but not limited to BRSA (Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey), keeps us involved not only in legal issues, but also many business and regulatory ones.

Our legal department has also taken on a significant role in rendering legal support to all other departments of the bank in their efforts to complete their processes, along with handling legal documents. I have been acting as the board secretary have become extensively involved in decision-making processes, which makes me a highly motivated colleague.

We initiated our credit facilities in 2024, after passing all approvals and other regulatory priorities. Based on this, as a strategic target, I believe this year will be a milestone for my team and I to increasingly demonstrate our legal skills and potential in the competitive banking industry and support the bank’s expansion.

Finally, as to my general career principle, I would like to emphasise that I am passionate about being one of the unique in-house legal counsel who lead their companies from a legal and business point of view.
