RISING STARS: GCS OF TOMORROW

International healthcare company Bupa recently launched a digital innovation incubator called Blue Table, supported by Bupa Customer Lab. The initiative offers start-ups and small businesses a chance to pilot ideas inside Bupa over a ten-week programme, with Bupa looking for innovations that address customer challenges in insurance and health. Bupa senior legal adviser Angelique de Lafontaine has been the legal lead for the incubator and worked closely with it throughout the last year. ‘She’s been a key part in developing strategic partnerships in the innovation space,’ Bupa chief legal o cer Penny Dudley says. ‘What makes me really pleased about Angelique’s contribution is that she’s been part of an agile team that has been involved in a [digital] journey from the very beginning – her work has been critical for us.’
