Air Liquide USA has a 100 year history in the US market and today has more than 20,000 employees in more than 1,300 locations across the country. Air Liquide offers its customers industrial gases and related services in a wide range of industries including oil and gas, chemicals, metals constructions, food and beverage, research and analysis and electronics and healthcare. Kevin Feeney currently serves as the senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary for American Air Liquide Holdings and Air Liquide USA. He joined the company in 1995 in the capacity of manager of litigation, and over time became more involved in transactional work, working his way up the ranks. In 2004 he assumed the position of vice president, general counsel and secretary and in 2014-15 he became the chief legal officer of Americas. Placing a focus on hiring the right people and ensuring they develop into future leaders of the company, Feeney takes pride in having developed the legal team for the Americas over the years. During his time at the company, the legal team has grown from six lawyers to its now 20 strong team in the US, and 35 in total for Americas. Prior to his current role he served as an associate for Beirne, Maynard & Parsons for four years and prior to that he served as a tax consultant at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells for a year. Amongst his achievements, Feeney has over $17bn in cumulative project value of negotiated and closed deals including the Airgas acquisition in 2016.
