After a career in private practice including in-house positions at Morgan Stanley and a stint as a general counsel of a public company, Seth Krauss joined William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME) in June 2014. Created from the historic merger of William Morris Entertainment and Endeavor, it is a highly regarded talent management agency working across the television, cinema, sports, music and entertainment industries as well as bestselling authors and other personalities. In 2017 WME merged with major sports management agency IMG to create Endeavor, boosting its scope and portfolio, an important transaction and rebrand led by Krauss. Krauss has managed a legal department with a particularly strong focus on the development of younger lawyers. He follows an interdisciplinary, no siloes approach to practicing law, as he says, ‘ensuring we learn from each other and be positing to make yesterday better… failure is not a mistake if you learn from it’.
