The legal team is fully responsible for overseeing all legal operations across Latin America for The Brink’s company, the world’s largest cash management system and a global leader in cash management, secure logistics and security solutions. Led by general counsel Jorge Zemborain, the legal team use their broad skillset and experience to navigate large M&A transactions in Chile, Brazil and Argentina among other countries. In 2017, the legal team worked on the US$209m acquisition of Maco Transportadora de Caudales, an Argentina-based cash-in-transit and money processing company. In August 2018, the legal team also assisted in the acquisition of Dunbar Armored, the fourth largest US cash management company, for approximately US$520m, an acquisition that is expected to increase Dunbar’s annual non-GAAP earnings by a significant amount within two years. In 2019, the legal team were also responsible for completing the acquisition of Rodoban in Brazil, for approximately US$145m in cash.
