A multi-functional team headquartered in Miami and spread across offices in the region with approximately 40 lawyers. The team provides legal support for an extensive and highly developed insurance operation in the region, having generated US$2.7bn in annual gross written premiums in 2016. The team is particularly noted for proficiency in counterparty agreements, corporate governance, employment law, insurance regulatory and disputes. In January 2019, they helped Chubb complete a landmark 15-year distribution agreement with Banco de Chile, the country’s largest bank.
