What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

We have taken the initiative to comply with the new Decree on Personal Data Protection in Vietnam (PDPD), which sets the highest standards for data privacy and security. We have collaborated closely with the business and cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive privacy strategy that not only meets the legal requirements but also reflects our internal ethical values, social perspectives, individual expectations, and organisational goals. Despite many practical challenges, this multifaceted approach is essential for ensuring our company’s long-term success and reputation.

We have been partnering with businesses on implementing a groundbreaking Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Program in partnership with numerous hospitals in Vietnam aiming at enhancing solid professional knowledge and responsibility in antibiotic treatment indications for healthcare professionals, as well as raising the awareness of patients in the use of antibiotics.

We have been involved in a public educational campaign on diseases awareness and prevention that benefits both the public and patients.

Additionally, we have been involved in various successful business initiatives and transactions that allow us to serve more patients.

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

We have created contract negotiation guidance and tools that enable the business to negotiate contracts and make informed decisions without legal involvement. This streamlines our company’s business process and contract management.
