What are the most significant cases or transactions that you have been involved in over the past year?

As a senior head of legal at the leading media and entertainment group company in Vietnam that I joined at the beginning of this year, in addition to corporate legal issues, I am in charge of and support the restructuring plan of the entire group for the IPO target and investment deals from strategic investors.

What innovations have you made to the way your legal team works in the past year?

In addition to restructuring the entire group, I have also completed the restructuring of the legal department to optimise internal legal services.

Based on your experience, what is the key to collaborating successfully with business partners?

I appreciate the transparent sharing of information, compliance with current regulations, assessment and response plans for changes in investment management policies, and the two sides’ consensus to cooperate for mutual benefit.

How do you motivate and manage the other members of your legal team well?

I appreciate the ability to work independently, the ability to coordinate smoothly as well as the teamwork spirit of the legal team. Especially supporting the other departments to ensure business objectives and manage risks.

What is a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about, and why?

I have been lucky to have experienced many legal events, work, and learn from domestic and international lawyers. I am impressed and proud of the experience and success of Vietnamese lawyers in recent years. I am truly fortunate to work and learn from my colleagues in Vietnam and around the world.
