1) What do you see as the main points that differentiate KPP Law from your competitors?

At KPP Law Firm, we specialize exclusively in tax law, with a strong focus on income tax audits, tax advisory services, and tax litigation. Our team includes experts with experience in both private practice and tax Authorities, giving us a deep understanding of how tax regulations are applied in practice. We provide tailored tax opinions, strategic solutions for corporate tax structuring, and strong defense in tax disputes. Our hands-on approach, combined with our ability to navigate complex audits, makes us a trusted partner for businesses seeking reliable tax advice.

2) Which practices do you see growing in the next 12 months? What are the drivers behind that?

We expect significant growth in tax audit defense, tax litigation, and advisory services related to cross-border tax matters. The key reasons behind this include increased tax enforcement, stricter compliance rules under EU tax directives, and the growing complexity of income tax regulations. Many businesses are facing more frequent and detailed tax audits, making expert legal guidance essential. Additionally, new digital taxation rules and transfer pricing requirements are creating new challenges that demand specialized support from tax law experts.

3) What’s the main change you’ve made in the firm that will benefit clients?

To better support our clients in dealing with tax audits and disputes, we have strengthened our tax litigation and advisory team. We now offer proactive pre-audit risk assessments to help businesses identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Additionally, we have expanded our services in issuing formal tax opinions, which provide legal certainty and support in case of disputes. These improvements allow our clients to stay compliant while minimizing risks and unexpected tax liabilities.

4) Is technology changing the way you interact with your clients, and the services you can provide them?

Technology has certainly improved the way we communicate with our clients and manage tax-related cases. We now use secure digital platforms for document exchange, making processes faster and more efficient. Additionally, we have improved how we track and manage tax audits and compliance requirements, ensuring that clients receive timely and well-organized support. While technology enhances efficiency, our focus remains on delivering personalized, expert legal advice tailored to each client’s specific needs.

5) Can you give us a practical example of how you have helped a client to add value to their business?

One of our corporate clients was facing an extensive tax audit that could have resulted in significant financial penalties. We worked closely with their finance and legal teams to review their tax records, identify potential risks, and prepare a well-documented response. Through negotiations with the tax Authorities, we successfully reduced their tax liability and avoided lengthy litigation. As a result, the client not only saved a substantial amount but also improved their internal tax compliance processes, reducing future risks and strengthening their overall financial strategy.

6) Are clients looking for stability and strategic direction from their law firms – where do you see the firm in three years’ time?

Yes, clients increasingly seek stability and clear guidance from their legal advisors, especially in the complex and evolving area of tax law. In the next three years, we aim to further strengthen our expertise in tax audits, tax litigation, and corporate tax advisory services. We will continue to expand our team, build on our strong relationships with tax authorities when we represent our clients and stay ahead of regulatory changes to provide clear, practical, and effective tax solutions to our clientele. Our goal is to be a trusted long-term partner for businesses navigating tax challenges with confidence.
