JLD & MB has a particularly strong Oil and Gas practice and has significant experience in both the upstream and downstream sectors. The Firm provides advice to some of the world’s foremost oil and gas companies on the legal and regulatory framework governing the oil and gas industry in Ghana. In the Energy and Petroleum sectors, the Firm has advised and continues to act as advisers to, amongst others, Tullow Ghana Limited, Vantage Drilling, Heritage Oil and Yinson in respect of various oil-producing fields and offshore installations in Ghana; and, in the downstream sector, to BP Oil International Limited.
