1. UEM Sunrise
   Acted for UEM Sunrise Berhad in respect of the disposal of five parcels of leasehold agricultural land in Tapah, Perak held by its subsidiary, Symphony Hills Sdn Bhd, to DBE Development Sdn Bhd.
2. H&R International GmbH
   Acted for H&R International GmbH, a leading global specialty chemicals company and a global player in the development and manufacture of crude-oil-based and chemical-pharmaceutical specialty products listed in Germany, in its acquisition of land and assets through its wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia, H&R ChemPharm Asia Sdn Bhd.
3. Hai Di Lao Malaysia
   Acted for Hai Di Lao Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a major F&B chain in tenancy agreements for the rental of various commercial lots in multiple locations in Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Pulau Pinang and Johor, for the operation of the popular international chain of hot pot restaurants, HaiDiLao Hotpot.
4. KIP REIT
   Acted for KIP Real Estate Investment Trust, in their acquisition of industrial properties in Klang, Selangor and the lease-back of the said properties to companies related to the Hextar Group.
5. Aryzta Food Solutions
   Acted for Aryzta Food Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an industry leading producer and supplier of bakery products, for its acquisition of properties and assets in Klang, Selangor.
6. Mapletree
   Acted for Mapletree Investment Pte Ltd, a real estate development, investment, capital and property management company in Singapore, in various real estate transactions for lands in Malaysia including acquisition and disposal of lands and joint venture for development of lands.
7. International School of KL
   Acted for the International School of Kuala Lumpur on its joint venture with the Employees Provident Fund on the acquisition and development of its new purpose built campus facility in Ampang Hilir, Kuala Lumpur.
8. Affin Bank
   Acted for Affin Bank Berhad on the acquisition and development of its new headquarters at Tun Razak Exchange.

Key Experiences

1. First of its kind Waste-to-Energy Plant in Malaysia
   Advising on matters pertaining to the construction of a waste-to-energy plant in Negeri Sembilan known as SMART WTE (Solid Waste Modular Advanced Recovery and Treatment Waste-to-Energy).
2. World’s Second Tallest Building – Menara Merdeka 118
   Representing a subcontractor which is part of an Italy-based company in its dispute with a Korean joint venture company in relation to the construction of the Menara Merdeka 118, which will be the second tallest building in the world upon completion.
3. Construction of a Sewage Waste Treatment Plant
   Advising on a potential dispute concerning the construction of a sewage waste treatment plant project worth more than RM400 million.
4. Fortune 500 Oil and Gas Company
   Represented the subsidiary of a Fortune 500 oil and gas company in disputes relating to the construction of the fuel hydrant pipelines at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
5. India’s Largest Biopharmaceutical Company
   Advised one of India’s largest biopharmaceutical companies in disputes relating to the construction of a biopharmaceutical plant.
6. Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT 3) Project
   Represented one of Malaysia’s leading conglomerates in its construction dispute relating to the RM16.63 billion LRT3 project.
7. Malaysian IPP
   Representing and advising a leading Malaysian IPP in a French-seated ICC international arbitration concerning a multitude of disputes arising from a suite of civil law-governed agreements for water supply and the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a desalination plant in North Africa.
8. O&G JV
   Representing and advising an oil & gas joint venture (between two of the world’s most successful national oil companies) in an ad-hoc arbitration on disputes concerning petrochemical facilities of the largest integrated petrochemical complex in Malaysia.
