The Commercial Litigation team at Nelsons is headed by Daniel Brumpton who has over 20 years’ experience of dealing with commercial disputes.

The team is one of the largest in the East Midlands representing a cross section of predominantly East Midlands businesses, including SMEs but also regularly works for businesses around the UK.

Our team can provide advice and assistance on a wide range of business disputes, including disagreements involving:

    • Partners, directors and shareholders
    • Contractual disputes
    • Intellectual property disputes
    • Debt recovery
    • Property disputes
    • Insolvency

The team works with clients to resolve the problem at the earliest possible stage through negotiation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation. Court action is a last resort but, if a case gets there, the team puts forward the best possible case, never losing sight of a client’s objectives.
