Team Services

An essential part of running a business is forming contracts with vendors, customers and partners. Often you will have to deal with shareholders, banks and other financial backers. But no matter how carefully you record those arrangements, disputes are common.

Dispute resolution

A dispute will distract you from your core business and could even jeopardise your company’s existence. It is therefore important to resolve it as swiftly as possible. Not always does the matter need to go to court. In fact, settling the dispute is often more effective and cost-efficient. We can assist you with this, and if necessary call in a mediator to oversee the discussions.

Litigation

However, if your dispute cannot be settled out of court, you might be forced to litigate. The litigators at Rutgers & Posch possess extensive experience with proceedings before district courts and courts of appeal (including the Enterprise Court). We also frequently assist clients in their disciplinary proceedings, proceedings before dispute committees such as the Kifid financial complaints tribunal and in arbitration proceedings.

We work for domestic clients and multinational enterprises, including manufacturers, retailers, banks, insurers, lawyers and accountants.

Our litigators specialise in contract law, property law, general corporate law, bankruptcy law and liability law. They closely monitor the latest developments in their areas of law, which gives them up-to-date knowledge to effectively resolve disputes.
