Deals

  • Advising and assisting Zonnepark Groene Corridor B.V. in realizing one of the largest solar parks on land in the Netherlands, to be constructed near the national airport Schiphol. The park will be 100 hectares in size and generate about 100 million kwH. This is enough power for approximately 40,000 households. Due to the size and location, this is a challenging project with high political sensitivity.
  • Advising and assisting Eneco in realizing a wind farm of 22 wind turbines with a capacity of over 100 megawatts on Maasvlakte 2. These innovative onshore wind turbines will generate more than 400 GWh of green electricity per year from 2023 onwards, enough for approx. 152,000 households.
  • Advising and assisting Koepel Windpark Delfzijl Zuid Uitbreiding, the initiator of a project that concerns the realization of a wind farm. In this project, the highest Dutch administrative court made an important ruling with far-reaching consequences for not only the wind sector, but also other industrial sectors. As a result of this ruling, national environmental standards may no longer be applied. This ruling has had attention in the national news and the Dutch Lower House. NewGround Law is assisting the developers in this procedure and its consequences.
