Team Services

The IP practice at Tees is primarily focussed on non-contentious intellectual property, although we have a team of partners and associates who regularly handle contentious IP or disputes where IP is the major legal issue at stake. We also have lawyers who have extensive experience of advising on brand protection strategies, especially in the context of hosting large-scale, international events, especially to combat so called ambush marketing.

In our non-contentious practice, our focus is sector driven by specialisms across the sport, publishing, and technology sectors. It is also transactional in nature, and focusses on the exploitation of IP, such as:

  • Sponsorship
  • Broadcasting
  • Licensing
