Bruchou & Funes de Rioja‘s dedicated environmental law team works closely with partners in other related practice areas, including mining, energy, capital markets, administrative law and litigation, to provide comprehensive advice on environmental conflicts and litigation, environmental regulation and compliance, permitting, the environmental aspects of M&A and green financing deals. The practice is co-headed by Sergio Arbeleche, who has a mining background and extensive experience handling environmental law matters, and Sebastian Vedoya, a specialist in environmental matters related to mining and hydrocarbon projects. The leadership is backed up by support from senior associate and ’expert consultant’ Pablo Crimer, who leads the firm’s recently launched ESG platform for climate action and sustainable businesses. The team can also call on administrative and public law partner Juan Zocca for senior input when required.
