Tax
Tavarone, Rovelli, Salim & Miani‘s strong banking expertise sees it regularly called on by issuers and lenders for support on the tax aspects of capital markets transactions, project financings and corporate finance transactions. The team is also well versed in tax planning matters and tax litigation at all levels of courts, and is particularly well known for its specialised tax expertise in the areas of electricity law; private notes (a new type of tax-efficient financial investment designed to attract foreign investors); and international tax planning structures for software start-ups. The practice is led by experienced tax litigation and customs lawyer Gastón Armando Miani, and strengthened its senior bench in March 2024 with the hire of partner Leonel Zanotto, a specialist in international and Argentine tax regulations, who leads on the team’s tax advisory work. A capable second line of experienced tax lawyers includes experienced and versatile tax counsel Juan Pablo Baumann Aubone; and senior associates Ana Ines Do Nizza, a tax advisory and tax litigation expert, and Micaela Aisenberg, who focuses on corporate tax work and tax planning.
