With bases across the country, the Herbert Smith Freehills capital markets team covers the full gamut of debt, equity and securitisation matters. Co-led from Sydney and Melbourne, respectively, by Philippa Stone and Michael Ziegelaar, who has particular experience in cross-border work, the equity capital markets team acts for both issuers and underwriters, advising on IPOs and share purchase plans, among other matters. Melbourne-based Tim McEwan and Philip Hart in Sydney are also notable equity team members.
