- Represented Samarco in a R$100m compensation lawsuit for material and moral damages filed by a major cellulose industry, on the grounds that, due to an environmental accident supposedly caused by the client, the plaintiff had to stop its production due to the level of water turbidity of the Rio Doce River (located in Minas Gerais State), only managing to partially resume the operation after making very expensive emergency investments, for which the plaintiff intends to also be compensated.
- Represented Samarco in a compensation lawsuit for material damages filed by the plaintiff on the grounds that it owns a small hydroelectric plant which was allegedly damaged by an environmental accident caused by the client, and, as a result of this, its operation was suspended by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).
