- Retained by long-standing client Alpiq to advise and assist on the sale of its Bulgarian assets. The transaction covered three separate entities owned by Alpiq in Bulgaria: (i) the entity behind one of the largest wind farms in Bulgaria (72.5 MW Vetrocom wind power plant near Kazanlak); (ii) operation and maintenance services provider Alpiq Wind Services; and (iii) electricity trader Alpiq Energy Bulgaria. Prepared a vendor due diligence report and advised on all aspects of the sale and the transaction documents, including corporate, real estate, regulatory and licensing regimes, etc.
- Advised SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) on the obtaining of a gas trading licence.
- Assists CNNCHN on a Bulgarian onshore wind power (54MW, in development phase) acquisition project.
