Fasken's practice group covers the gamut of Canadian competition law work, namely M&A review, cartel matters, abuse of dominance cases and competition and consumer protection litigation. A recent mandate of note saw the group advise Cisco on its acquisition of Accedian, successfully obtaining approval from the Competition Bureau. Huy Do and Antonio Di Domenico, both at the Toronto office, share leadership of the practice. Do focuses on antitrust, marketing and foreign investment law matters; Di Domenico’s practice takes in merger reviews, civil and criminal investigations and class action litigation. Also noted is Chris Margison, who draws on experience as special advisor to the Commissioner of Competition.
