Employing the bench strength of a global network of 200 lawyers across six continents, the projects and construction team at Clyde & Co LLP provides a comprehensive service to advise on transport, energy, infrastructure and commercial development projects over the course of their entire lifecycles. The practice also represents insurers and engineering firms involved in complex, multi-jurisdictional construction disputes. The team is headed by global senior partner and experienced litigator Carolena Gordon, who defends construction firms and their insurers, and partner and Canadian board chair Jo-Anne Demers, in Montréal; George Karayannides, a seasoned infrastructure lawyer and arbitrator in Toronto; managing partner Alex Moulton in Calgary, who brings over 20 years of experience litigating at all levels of court in Alberta and the Northwest Territories; and Don Smith, a specialist in disputes involving tendering, procurement and builders’ liens, in Vancouver.
