The team offers transactional support, represents clients in litigation and assists with the development of strategies for audits and assessments. The practice is co-directed by the Toronto-based Patrick Marley, who focuses on international tax planning, and Calgary-based tax all-rounder Edward Rowe. Additional key contacts in Toronto include star litigator Al Meghji; Firoz Ahmed, who handles the tax aspects of M&A, corporate reorganizations, debt restructurings, partnership arrangements and international tax matters; Drew Morier, who majors on international taxation; and Amanda Heale, whose expertise covers tax litigation and transfer pricing.
