The five-member team at Baraona Marshall & Cía routinely acts for domestic and foreign banks, investment firms and issuers on the gamut of credit work, including local and international project-related structuring and restructuring finance facilities. Leveraging the firm’s close relations with the regulators, the department also actively participates in the development of banking regulations. The ‘very knowledgeable’ practice group is led by Raúl Marshall, whose experience includes syndicated bank financings, project and infrastructure financings, capital markets, private equity, M&A, reorganisations and corporate restructuring. The team further includes Rodolfo Vega, whose broad practice includes advising both borrowers and lenders on major transactions; and senior associates Juan José Grez (who recently completed his LLM in finance law) and Trinidad Sáenz, both of whom are also notably active in finance matters.
