Ried Fabres' 12-strong group has notable experience in significant loan transactions, project finance, and international and local bonds, while additionally housing deep derivatives trading expertise. The banking and finance practice is also regularly mandated to provide reports on banking regulatory matters; and is particularly lauded for its knowledge of Chile’s banking and capital markets regulators. A group of four partners constitute the department’s principal advisers. Longstanding banking and finance practitioner Cristián Fabres and fellow name partner José Miguel Ried (who consistently acts on major banking and finance matters) are both well known market figures. The pair are complemented by younger partners Ricardo Abogabir and Jaime Hirschberg who both handle finance transactions, bond offerings and regulatory issues, along with derivatives matters and IPOs, respectively. At associate level, senior Ariadna Beroiz and intermediate Magdalena Varas provide key support.
