Ried Fabres

The seven-member capital markets team at Ried Fabres advises on significant deals involving alternative assets, securitisations, tender offers, debt securities, equity transactions, and bond issuances. Clients also turn to the ‘highly competent’ team for additional capital markets matters, such as regulatory-related reports, derivatives trading, portfolio management, and investment and mutual funds. The firm additionally houses experts in capital markets-related white-collar litigation. The practice is co-led by securitisation expert Cristián Fabres, and José Miguel Ried, who advises stockbrokers, dealers and foreign fund managers on capital markets regulations. The group also includes derivatives head and bond offering expert Ricardo Abogabir; and recently-promoted partner Jaime Hirschberg, who assists with private company IPOs, and the registration and placement of bonds. At associate level, Ariadna Beroiz advises on funds work. Luz María Waidele departed the firm in December 2022.
