At arbitration, litigation and antitrust boutique Ugarte & Correa, the competition team acts for both domestic and transnational clients in significant antitrust matters. Its track record covers merger control mandates and general advisory work, as well as the litigation of collusion, unfair competition, abuse of dominant position and cartel cases. The team also assists with the application of leniency programmes before the FNE. The practice is led by litigation, arbitration and antitrust specialist José Joaquín Ugarte, who is supported by experienced litigator Pablo Correa, and domestic and international arbitration expert Liat Tapia. Former associates Marcelo Mayor and Marcelo Moreno departed the firm in July and September 2023, respectively.
