The seven-strong privacy practice at boutique legal practice Bitlaw specialises in privacy, technology contracting, cybersecurity, e-commerce and fintech. It also has a strong presence in the financial and retail sectors. In relation to data protection, the group routinely assists with the assessment, establishment and implementation of privacy controls, in order for clients to be legally compliant. The team is co-led by Paulina Silva, who has notable experience in advising companies on privacy, cybersecurity, privacy management, and e-commerce; and privacy and technology contracting specialist Javiera Sepúlveda (‘stands out for her knowledge’), who is also the co-chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ Chilean branch.
