Spinning out of Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría (PPU) in September 2023, Vial Larraín Femenías‘ 11-strong practice is experienced in disputes concerning natural resources, construction, insurance, concessions and infrastructure, along with civil and commercial matters. The team also acts in family businesses disputes. The group is led by former PPU disputes leader Jorge Vial, an expert in commercial and investment arbitrations under the main international rules (ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, CAM/CCBC). Vial is supported by Ignacio Larraín, who acts in domestic arbitrations involving energy and commercial disputes; and Jorge Femenías, whose expertise encompasses natural resources and environment-related domestic arbitrations.
