Clyde & Co was established in August 2022 following the merger of Grasty Quintana Majlis (previously in association with London-headquartered global law firm Clyde & Co) and Halpern Pino. The group advises Chilean and foreign mining companies with regard to mining title reviews, mining concessions’ due diligence, option and royalty agreements, financing, and project development. It also advises on land use and easements, construction issues and mining disputes. The team is led by Hugo Prieto, who routinely negotiates option agreements and service provision contracts in the mining sector. At associate level, José Francisco Osman is active in mining, real estate, energy, and corporate law work; José Fernández advises on corporate and commercial law matters; and Sebastián Acevedo focuses on real estate, urban planning and corporate issues.
