The three-member environment and natural resources group at Jara Del Favero Abogados advises on regulated sectors, such as recycling, sanitary, mining, water, infrastructure, forestry, maritime concessions, agriculture, and energy. In addition to environmental law, the team additionally assists with community relations issues. It also acts before Chile’s environmental courts, as well as in administrative procedures. The practice is led by Javier Naranjo, a former Minister and Undersecretary of the Environment (and partner since July 2023). Naranjo routinely advises on environmental and administrative law mandates, while senior associate Martín Esser primarily assists with project-related environmental matters.
