The four-member team at full-service firm Barros & Errázuriz covers the incorporation and establishment of insurance companies, as well as corporate governance and the sale of share holdings in insurance companies. On the regulatory side, the practice advises on compliance with the regulatory aspects of technical reserves, investment rules, risk management, internal control systems and anti-money laundering. The department is co-led by Carlos Ducci, an expert in corporate law, foreign investment, M&A and joint ventures; and Javier Díaz, whose career includes working as a lawyer for the Chilean Securities and Insurances Authority (now known as the Financial Market Commission).
