Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos' eight-strong practice covers day-to-day labour advice, hiring, collective bargaining, and compensation and incentive packages. It also assists with preventive audits, investigations, outsourcing, downsizing, business restructuring and the implementation of internal policies. On the contentious side, the practice routinely defends employers before Chile’s courts of justice and the Labour Directorate. The group is co-led by Bárbara Zlatar, an expert in litigation, union relations and collective bargaining; and Ignacia López who ‘stands out’ and handles both advisory and contentious matters. At senior associate level, Sebastián Krebs assists with labour litigation, labour relations, hirings and terminations; while Daniela Valencia focuses on both labour and social security issues. Former partner and practice head Ricardo Tisi retired from the firm in August 2023.
