Jara Del Favero Abogados' labour and employment department covers unfair dismissals, administrative fines, occupational disease-related issues, workplace accidents, violations of fundamental rights and mobbing actions. The five-strong team also assists with collective bargaining processes. Raised to partner in January 2023, practice head Alfred Sherman assists with individual and collective labour law, collective bargaining, labour lawsuits, dismissals, protection of fundamental rights, and work-related accidents. Sherman is supported by Pedro Errázuriz, who was promoted to senior associate in January 2024; his workload includes hiring and termination processes for national and foreign workers, labour audits and anti-union practices.
